Meghan Markle showcased her signature minimalist style on Saturday as she and Prince Harry continued their visit to Colombia. This trip marks the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first international journey since their earlier visit to Nigeria this year.
On the third day of their South American tour, Markle opted for a chic all-white outfit, featuring a ribbed tank top paired with a linen maxiskirt. She accessorized with a coordinated Maison Michel hat, Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, t-strap sandals, and gold jewelry. Among her accessories were her gold Cartier Love bangle, Juste Un Clou collar, and the standout piece—a Cartier Tank Française watch that once belonged to Princess Diana.
In keeping with her understated elegance, Markle wore her hair in a simple ponytail and kept her makeup minimal.
Later that day, the Duchess of Sussex transitioned into a black Johanna Ortiz dress, adorned with rope stripes and a tie-front bodice. She completed this look with tan Aquazzura sandals, a Cesta Collective woven crossbody bag, and the same hat and sunglasses.
The gold Cartier Tank watch, a gift from Prince Harry, holds significant sentimental value. First spotted on Markle in 2020, the timepiece, originally belonging to Princess Diana, is valued at over $22,000 today, though its historical importance likely increases its worth. Princess Diana also owned a Cartier Tank with a black leather strap, further cementing the watch’s royal legacy.
Markle has long been a fan of Cartier, owning a gold Love bangle from the brand since at least 2011, years before she joined the royal family. On her wedding day, she adorned herself with a diamond-encrusted Cartier bracelet valued at $150,000, paired with matching drop earrings worth $66,000.
The Duchess also owns a Cartier Tank Française of her own, which she purchased while starring in the television series “Suits.” She plans to pass down this yellow gold and steel timepiece, valued at over $5,000, to her daughter. The watch features a custom engraving, “To M.M. From M.M.,” symbolizing a personal milestone when “Suits” was renewed for its third season.
