Omega Sets The Stage For The 2028 Olympics

As the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, OMEGA is already setting the stage for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Though the 2024 Summer Games in Paris have just concluded, OMEGA is shifting its focus to the next grand event, celebrating with a Hollywood-themed event at OMEGA House Paris. The soirée drew an impressive array of notable guests, including Allyson Felix, the world’s most decorated track and field athlete; LA28 Chairperson Casey Wasserman; and brand friends such as Alisha Boe, Paul Wesley, Jesse Williams, and Chase Stokes. The event also featured OMEGA ambassador Erik Van Rooyen and Olympic diving legend Greg Louganis.

The “LA28” evening was designed to honor the upcoming host city and build anticipation for OMEGA’s 33rd role as Official Timekeeper. OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann highlighted the significance of the upcoming Games for the brand, noting, “Our journey as Official Timekeeper began in Los Angeles in 1932. The LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games will be a special homecoming for us, filled with sentiment and excitement. We’re eagerly looking forward to it.”

Casey Wasserman, Chairperson of LA28, promised a spectacular event in 2028, stating, “Being in the heart of the entertainment world, we know how to put on a big show in Los Angeles, so you can expect 2028 to be epic and unforgettable.”
