As the athletics events at the Paris 2024 Olympics conclude, OMEGA House has celebrated the achievements of track and field athletes with a special evening dedicated to their exceptional performances. The event, held at the luxurious OMEGA House, honored the athletes who have excelled on the Olympic stage, embodying the Olympic spirit of “faster, higher, and stronger.”
The Friday night gala was graced by numerous distinguished guests, including OMEGA’s esteemed sporting ambassadors. Among them were legendary track and field athlete Marie-José Pérec, High Jump gold medallist Yaroslava Mahuchikh, javelin silver medallist Neeraj Chopra, sprinter Erriyon Knighton, decathlete Simon Ehammer, and former Olympic gold medallist Dalilah Muhammad.
OMEGA House, located at The Hôtel de Poulpry in the Maison des Polytechniciens, near the Musée d’Orsay, has been serving as the Swiss brand’s opulent base for the duration of the Paris 2024 Games. As the official timekeeper for both the Olympic and Paralympic Games, OMEGA used the event to pay tribute to the athletes’ hard work and dedication.
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, addressed the attendees, stating, “This event is a fitting tribute to the incredible athletes who have given us all so much to cheer for. Their dedication and performance deserve recognition, and OMEGA is proud to celebrate their achievements.”
OMEGA’s long-standing association with athletics extends beyond the Olympics to include the prestigious Diamond League. The brand has been instrumental in developing cutting-edge timekeeping technology, such as the electronic starting pistol, false start detection systems, and the new Scan’O’Vision ULTIMATE photofinish camera, which played a crucial role in this year’s events.
The OMEGA House Paris has been a hub of sophistication and celebration throughout the Games. By day, it offers members a range of elegant spaces to unwind, while by night, it hosts exclusive VIP events and themed gatherings. The venue will remain open to members until Saturday, August 10th, continuing to honor the spirit of the Games and OMEGA’s pivotal role in them.
