Omega, renowned as the official timekeeper of the Olympics since 1932, has introduced the new Speedmaster Chronoscope collection in honor of the ongoing Olympic Games Paris 2024. This collection includes four 43mm models in striking Olympic colors of gold, black, and white.
Featuring designs such as a full stainless steel version with an anodised aluminium bezel and an 18K Moonshine Gold model with a ceramic bezel, the Speedmaster Chronoscope collection stands out with its silvery white opaline dial adorned with three dark grey timing scales in a 1940s “snail” design. These watches pay homage to Omega’s precise timekeeping legacy at the Olympics, enhanced by functionalities like tachymeter, pulsometer, and telemeter.

This exceptional timepiece fetched 852,500 Swiss francs at auction and features a jumping sweep-seconds hand with a start-and-stop function, a testament to Ferdinand Adolph Lange’s 150-year-old invention.
The watch is powered by the special calibre L1924, referencing Walter Lange’s birth year, and boasts a 40.5-millimeter steel case with a black enamel dial inspired by historic pocket watches. The proceeds from its auction benefited Children Action, underscoring A Lange & Sohne’s commitment to philanthropy alongside its horological achievements.
Blancpain
Blancpain introduces the Bathyscaphe Quantieme Complet Phases de Lune, a sophisticated addition to its Bathyscaphe line launched in 1956. This model features a black ceramic case and bracelet, complemented by a vibrant sunray-brushed blue dial that exudes elegance and sportiness.
Crafted for durability and comfort, the watch includes a moon-phase complication and is powered by the 6654.P calibre with a silicon balance-spring for enhanced precision and resistance to magnetism. The unidirectional rotating bezel and meticulous adjustment of the bracelet links underscore Blancpain’s dedication to functionality and craftsmanship.
