In celebration of the Paris Summer Olympics, luxury watchmaker Omega has established a temporary home at The Hôtel de Poulpry, Maison des Polytechniciens. Dubbed Omega House Paris, this unique venue offers a serene retreat amidst the bustling city, serving as a hub for exclusive events throughout the Games.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by The Courtyard, an elegant outdoor space that provides a tranquil escape from the lively Parisian streets. As they move further inside, they encounter The Reception, which proudly displays a comprehensive timeline of Omega’s 92-year partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, highlighting the brand’s pivotal role in sports timekeeping history.
The rest of Omega House Paris is a beautifully designed space filled with rooms that celebrate Omega’s rich heritage in watchmaking. Visitors can explore modern Omega technologies integral to the Olympic Games, view an exhibition of women’s timepieces spanning the past century, and enjoy a drink while browsing the latest Omega Seamaster collections. A notable attraction is the opportunity to take selfies with a giant golden astronaut, adding a whimsical touch to the experience.
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of Omega, expressed the brand’s vision for the venue: “We’ve designed Omega House to bring guests into the heart of our brand. There’s so much to explore and uncover, with surprises around every corner. It’s not just a beautiful place to relax and celebrate, but it’s also a showcase of everything that makes Omega special.”
Global brand ambassadors Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber were in attendance for the opening celebration. Reflecting on her return to Paris, Crawford shared, “Paris is a city I adore thanks to my career in fashion. To be returning here now, with my Omega family at the Olympic Games, is really a sentimental moment.” Gerber added, “Omega always does everything to the highest standard. You can see it when they time the events at the Olympic Games, and you can see it here in every detail of the House.”
Omega House Paris is open to members only until August 10, with a full schedule of events set to unfold throughout the duration of the Olympic Games.
