Paris, France — OMEGA kicked off the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with a glittering event at its temporary residence, Omega House. The occasion was graced by supermodel Cindy Crawford and her daughter, Kaia Gerber, who helped inaugurate the brand’s luxurious retreat located at the historic Hôtel de Poulpry, conveniently situated near the Musée d’Orsay.
Cindy Crawford, a steadfast ambassador for OMEGA since 1995, was joined by her daughter, Kaia Gerber, who has represented the brand for the past seven years. The event marked a significant moment for the iconic watchmaker, which has been a prominent partner in Olympic timekeeping since 1932.
As a highlight of their Paris Games festivities, OMEGA has unveiled special edition 2024 Olympic watches and recently showcased their timekeeping innovations in an Omega Pavilion set up in a local park. Omega House, like the Pavilion, will remain open throughout the Games, serving as an exclusive haven for invited guests.
The opening night of Omega House also attracted other notable figures, including American sprinter Gabby Thomas, French rapper Rim’K, and Swiss fashion designer Kevin Germanier.
Cindy Crawford expressed her enthusiasm: “Paris is a city I adore due to my career in fashion. Returning here with my Omega family during the Olympic Games is a deeply sentimental experience. I’m thrilled that the House is nestled in the heart of this magnificent city.”
Kaia Gerber echoed her mother’s sentiments, saying, “OMEGA always excels in every detail, whether it’s timing Olympic events or curating this House. I’m honored to be part of such a special evening.”
Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, added, “Tonight is a milestone we’ve eagerly anticipated. We’re thrilled to welcome spectators back to the Olympic Games and celebrate this moment with friends like Cindy and Kaia. The energy and dedication invested in creating Omega House have made it a remarkable venue for Paris 2024.”
