Omega, the official timekeeper for the Olympic Games, is set to launch an exclusive pop-up boutique in Paris, aligning with the excitement of the upcoming competition. The limited-time event, known as Omega House, will be located in the elegant Hôtel de Poulpry, Maison des Polytechniciens, and will be accessible to members only from July 28 through August 10.

Raynald Aeschlimann, Omega’s President and CEO, described the pop-up as an immersive experience that aims to encapsulate the essence of the brand. “OMEGA House is crafted to transport guests into the very core of what makes Omega unique. This space is not only a sanctuary for relaxation and celebration but also a showcase of our rich history and innovations,” Aeschlimann stated.

The temporary boutique will offer a comprehensive exploration of Omega’s longstanding association with the Olympics, which dates back to 1932. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with various exhibits spread across multiple floors. Highlights include a colossal golden astronaut for photo opportunities, a wall dedicated to celebrity autographs, and showcases featuring Omega’s latest Paris 2024 timepieces, including the new Chronoscope Speedmasters and a limited-edition Seamaster 300M dive watch.

The exhibit will be divided into distinct thematic rooms. The Timekeeping room will provide insights into the advanced technologies employed in the Games, such as the electronic starting pistol and the photofinish camera. Another room, designed to emulate the competitive atmosphere of a stadium, aims to give visitors a sense of the athlete’s experience.

Additional features of the pop-up include the Her Time exhibition, which highlights the evolution of women’s watchmaking through a collection of vintage timepieces and memorabilia. A display featuring floating Speedmaster and Seamaster watches, alongside astronaut memorabilia, will also be on view. After exploring, guests can unwind in a verdant garden equipped with a large screen for watching the summer Games or enjoy refreshments in the front courtyard.

Omega’s Paris pop-up follows a tradition of similar Olympic-themed experiences, including those held in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and London in 2012. For those interested, Omega operates four other boutiques in Paris, providing additional opportunities to explore the brand’s offerings during the Games.
