In a flurry of horological excitement, Omega and Richard Mille have unveiled standout additions to their collections. Omega introduces the striking black dial version of its Seamaster Aqua Terra, while Richard Mille releases vibrant new iterations of its RM 65-01 automatic chronograph.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra: A Bold New Look

The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, known for its versatility both on land and sea, now features a bold new look with a glossy black dial. Available in 41mm, 38mm, and 34mm sizes, this latest iteration moves away from the traditional teak pattern, opting instead for a sleek lacquered finish. The deep black dial offers a striking contrast against luminous hands and markers, ensuring optimal readability in various lighting conditions.

The 41mm and 38mm models retain the iconic trapezoidal date window, while the 34mm version features a rounded date window and sailboat-shaped indexes. All new models come equipped with redesigned three-link bracelets and house Master Chronometer certified movements. The 41mm variant uses the Omega 8900 movement, while the 38mm and 34mm sizes are powered by the Omega 8800 movement, both offering impressive magnetic resistance and power reserves of 60 and 55 hours, respectively. Richard Mille RM 65-01: A Splash of Color

Richard Mille has expanded its RM 65-01 collection with two new color variants: dark yellow, limited to 120 pieces, and pastel blue. The RM 65-01, which debuted in 2020, is renowned as Richard Mille’s most complex automatic watch, comprising 600 components.

These new models feature Quartz TPT (Thin Ply Technology), celebrated for its durability and high-temperature resistance. Powered by the RMAC4 calibre, the RM 65-01 operates at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), allowing for precise time measurement in tenth-of-a-second intervals. The chronograph function can time events up to 12 hours and includes a 60-hour power reserve. Noteworthy features include a Rapid Winding button for quick mainspring recharging and a crown function selector for easy mode switching. The price for these intricate pieces is set at 322,000 Swiss francs (approximately S$484,000).

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 36mm: Elegant New Variations

Parmigiani Fleurier has introduced three new models of its Tonda 36mm, following Guido Terreni’s appointment as CEO in 2021. The standout timepieces include two rose gold variants and a chic two-tone model combining rose gold and steel.

Featuring teardrop-shaped lugs, knurled bezels, integrated bracelets, and a hand-guilloche barleycorn dial pattern, these watches are powered by the in-house calibre PF770, providing a 60-hour power reserve and 100m water resistance. Prices vary: the rose-gold model adorned with 232 diamonds is priced at $131,780, another rose-gold variant with a warm grey dial and diamond accents costs $106,730, and the two-tone model with a white citrine dial and diamond indices is available for $53,280.

Tudor Black Bay Ceramic Blue: Motorsport-Inspired Edition

To mark its partnership with the new Visa Cash App RB Formula One team, Tudor has launched the Black Bay Ceramic Blue. This exclusive edition of the Black Bay Ceramic, initially available only to the team, is now accessible to the public.

The watch features a 41mm black ceramic case with a bold blue dial matching the team’s colors. It is powered by the MT5602-1U calibre, developed with Kenissi, and offers a 70-hour power reserve. The Black Bay Ceramic Blue includes luminescent hour markers, “snowflake” hands, a unidirectional bezel, and a hybrid leather-rubber strap with blue stitching, as well as an additional black fabric strap with a blue center band. The price for this striking timepiece is $7,370.

Ulysse Nardin Diver Atoll: A Nautical Gem

Ulysse Nardin has unveiled the Diver Atoll, a 39mm watch distinguished by its unique mottled blue and green chrysocolla dial. Part of the Diver collection, this compact model features a stainless-steel case made from 80% recycled steel, ensuring sustainability and a solid 300m water resistance.

The dial, crafted from hand-cut chrysocolla, is adorned with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel and 11 diamond indices. The watch is powered by the in-house automatic movement UN-816, featuring a silicon escapement wheel and anchor, and offers a 42-hour power reserve. Limited to 100 pieces, the price is set at $23,100.

Hublot Classic Fusion Essential Grey: Volume III

Hublot continues its Essential Grey series with the 2024 release of two Classic Fusion models. Available in 42mm and 45mm titanium cases, these watches feature satin-finished bezels with six H-shaped screws.

The design is understated yet sophisticated, with a sunray-finished dial, three central hands, and a simple date window. Both models are powered by the HUB1110 and HUB1112 calibres. This release follows Hublot’s previous Essential Grey editions, which have been highly sought after due to their limited availability.
